Will international pupils have to speak English at all times?

Using English as much as possible is important to both learning the language and integrating with school life.

All pupils are required to speak English in the boarding houses and our international pupils quickly find themselves speaking English all the time. However, we know that on occasions pupils feel more comfortable communicating in their mother tongue and will support this when required. Many members of staff speak a variety of languages and can support pupils in their native language if needed.
