What medical care is available?

There are a wide variety of people onsite to look after the health and well-being of pupils.

The school has its own Health Centre (The Well-Being Hub) staffed by two highly experienced nurses supported by local doctors from the Apples Surgery in Sherborne who hold clinics at the school twice a week for boarders, students can choose to see a male or female doctor.  The Well-Being Hub is open Monday to Friday 0800. to 18.00 with qualified staff on call in boarding overnight and at weekends. There are two hospitals in easy reach of the school and treatment can be arranged through the school doctor as necessary.

As well as caring for sick or injured students, the school nurses are there to encourage pupils to take responsibility for their health as well as to be a listening ear.

All pupils have access to the School Counsellor, who is available every week via either a walk-in clinic in the Well-Being Hub or for pre-booked appointments.
