What are the weekend activities for boarders?

Weekend activities vary for boarders, from go-karting to cinema trips, there is always something for everyone.

Students in Year 10 and below are encouraged to participate in at least three evening activities per week, which can be boarding or after-school activities, or a mix of both. Weekend activities are mandatory for students in Year 10 and below, while students in Years 11-13 have the option to join. However, some weekend activities are compulsory for all years, including community-based activities on-site and occasional off-site trips. These activities incur an additional charge, which will be reflected on the school bill. It's important to note that tickets are typically non-refundable, and late notice of non-attendance may still result in charges. Students attend Mass on Saturday evenings at the church in Sherborne, with the service starting at 17:30. Saturday Mass is obligatory for all Catholic students boarding at the school, but non-Catholic students are welcome to attend if they wish.
