What are the behavioural expectations in the Prep?

Behaviour in the Prep is guided by our Golden Rules, which help pupils understand right and wrong and keep everyone safe and happy.

The guiding principle for pupils is respect for others and for themselves. The Golden Rules are:

  • We listen to people
  • We are honest
  • We are gentle
  • We are kind and helpful
  • We work hard
  • We look after property

These rules help pupils make positive choices and support the well‑being and safety of the whole school community. They apply not only in school, but also whenever pupils are representing Leweston or wearing school uniform.

Form Teachers remind pupils of the Golden Rules at the start of each term, and we ask parents to support this positive behaviour at home so that school and home expectations are consistent.
