Do you offer the Duke of Edinburgh scheme?
Yes. Leweston offers the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels.
To complete Bronze and Silver, participants follow a personal programme in four sections:
- Volunteering
- Physical
- Skills
- Expedition
The Gold Award is exclusive to Sixth Form students and typically takes 12–18 months to complete. Like the other levels, it includes:
- Volunteering
- Physical and Skills sections
- A demanding expedition
Gold also has an additional 5‑day residential section, where participants must take part in a shared activity away from home with people they do not usually live or study with.
