Leweston School is situated three miles outside Sherborne in Dorset.
The school sits in 46 acres of beautiful Dorset countryside in the heart of Hardy’s Wessex. It is approximately two and a half hours from London and just over an hour from Bristol. It is on a direct train line to London Waterloo.
Sherborne is one of the most stunning towns in the County with many medieval buildings and a nationally famous Abbey. There are also two Castles. It regularly appears in film and on television. An ancient market town, Sherborne is still home to a thriving farmers market, independent shops and busy community. More information about the town, including places to stay can be found at www.sherbornetown.com
Leweston is only half an hour away from the Jurassic Coast, England’s first World Heritage Site. The school also has Dorset’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close by as well as countless museums, galleries, National Trust properties and Natural Reserves.
Many pupils joining the school are relocating to Dorset and the Admissions team are happy to provide advice to families new to the area.
