Do international boarders have to leave on International Travel Day?

No. International boarders do not have to leave exactly on International Travel Day, but any variation must be agreed in advance.

Leweston understands that flights and family commitments do not always match the official international travel day. International students may therefore request:

  • To leave before the end of term or earlier on the last day of term, or
  • To return after the official start of term, where necessary.

Because international boarders cannot arrive before or leave after the designated international travel day without permission, any early departure or late return must be approved in advance by the school (normally via the Headmaster and Director of Boarding).
